Many typos, the edititng is poor.
That was a bit distracting.
But easy reading none the less.
I enjoyed learning about cases that I had NOT previously known about. Well written with few editing issues. True crime readers will love it!
some liberties were taken to make the stories more interesting i think. im a huge true crime buff so ive read about most of the killers and the actual crimes. all in all it is a good read tho.
Mr. MacDonald has given us some heavy material this time. There are some horrific crimes presented in this volume.
Even the one case I was familiar with had some new information. I tend to disregard those reviewers who state "I couldn't put it down," but this book really kept me turning the pages.
I deducted my usual one star for the numerous errors, but I highly recommend this book to true crime fans.
I enjoyed this quick read true crime anthology that dealt with a myriad of criminals and their motivations. I would check out reading the books about the Columbo family, "Love's Blood" and the other one out there...the title lists all of their names. Also, just an aside, I own the book about the honor killing but I won't read it. A girl was murdered in cold blood simply for being a teenager, part-time job at Wendy's and a boyfriend. The defence tried to blame the victim stating that she should have been aware of "mercy killings". Ridiculous. You come to the U.S. and you want to be welcome? You nonassimilating animals. Here in America you can't just kill your kid and walk away. Stay the hell out of our country if you can't handle our beliefs and lifestyles.
